Did Jamie Dornan Need Inspiration For Sex Scenes In ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’?
In a surprise confession Jamie Dornan recently said that he needed extra inspiration to perform his sex scenes in the steamy adaptation Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The Irish actor who stars in the film based on the E.L. James novel of the same name shared with the UK tabloid Sun that he watched Sarah Jessica Parker and Co. in Sex And The City for ideas on how to handle his hot takes with co-star Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele in the film.
“Joe (Dempsie) and I watched all the Sex and the City box sets,” Dornan said. “That helped…We had a ball, it was a good fun.”
Turns out Jamie got everyone fooled when he said that, as the marathon he was talking about was in preparation for something else he was working on:
“This was said tongue in cheek and he was referring to New Worlds, not Fifty Shades Of Grey,” a source told E! News.
New Worlds is a historical romantic drama Jamie Dornan shot with Dempsie before he worked on Fifty Shades.
Jamie says he enjoyed shooting the television series very much indeed:
“Obviously we’re getting the work done but you’re allowed to have fun at work. I’d stop if I wasn’t allowed to have fun.”
The sexy Dornan has gained incredible notoriety ever since being cast as the romantic hero, Christian Grey, following the failed casting of Charlie Hunnam, who dropped out due to conflicting schedule, or so he said.
Now that the James adaptation is complete Jamie is finding he has a legion of fans following his every move and waiting anxiously to see what kind of Mr. Grey he portrays on the big screen and with good reason. Check out the hot photos shared on Twitter!

In a recent interview, Jamie was emphatic about what he thinks of his new-found fame:
“Nobody sane wants just to be famous. I hate it when people say you’re asking for it by doing films.”
“No, I’m asking for work, and I’m asking to get paid for doing something I love. I’m not asking to be followed down a street by some f***king pap.”
Talking about his past relationship with British actress Keira Knightley the 31-year-old star — who is now married to someone else — said:
“Being with Keira was an insight into how rotten the whole thing can be. A young girl is being followed around the street, there is nothing positive to say about that.”
Now that he stars in Fifty Shades, however, Jamie Dornan is in for more of the same unfortunately, as the scrutiny of his private life intensifies.
