Nicole Scherzinger Finally Engaged To Lewis Hamilton At Fourth Attempt

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton are finally engaged to be married after Hamilton’s fourth proposal.

The determination that Lewis Hamilton shows in winning races served him in good stead, since Nicole had already turned him down three times before.

A source quoted in the IB Times reported that Hamilton followed the traditional pattern, and got down on one knee to propose:

“Lewis is doing his best to keep the news under wraps but he is absolutely delighted. He got down on one knee and Nicole finally accepted.

The plan is they are going to live together in Switzerland and travel together when Lewis is racing. Of course, this means her career will have to take a back seat for a while but she is ready to support him on the track.

Nicole Scherzinger first met Hamilton five years ago and they have shared a roller-coaster relationship ever since, breaking up several times.

In July 2013, they “finally” broke up just before of the first live auditions for The X Factor.

But, only a month later, 29-year-old Hamilton was seen in the parking lot of the hotel where Scherzinger was staying. Following that, Nicole and Lewis went on a romantic trip to Rome.

Nicole, 35, admits she was “an emotional wreck” after the break up.

And she says that she just hasn’t been back on the dating scene, “That’s not where my head’s been at. At all. You have to be happy with yourself before you’re happy with anyone else.”

Scherzinger got really excited after Hamilton took the pole position during a qualifying race in Melbourne on Saturday, ahead of Australia’s Grand Prix, and rushed to tweet:

“Congratulations @LewisHamilton So proud of u 4 taking pole position! First race of the season! @f1 #AustralianGP Race ur heart out babe! xo,”

Apparently, the wedding is scheduled for this coming August, after which Mr and Mrs Hamilton will settle down in Lewis’s home in Switzerland.

One thing is sure; Nicole Scherzinger will enjoy a comfortable lifestyle with the F1 racing driver. Apart from the mini-mansion overlooking Lake Geneva, there is the yacht, the private plane, a collection of exotic cars, and around $200 million in net worth.

Until now, Nicole has had to struggle with her net worth of $8 million.
