Katy Perry Kissed A Girl – Did She Like It?
Celebrity singer Katy Perry tends to keep tongues wagging with behavior that sometimes borders on the shocking. Whether she sets out to create drama in an attempt to stay in the forefront of our minds, or she simply enjoys living life to the fullest, Katy’s titillating antics keep us coming back for more. One of Perry’s most recent exploits involves gal pal Miley Cyrus. To be fair, the former Hannah Montana star, Cyrus, seems to be the instigator in this particular situation. Katy Perry attended one of her friend’s Bangerz Tour shows in Los Angeles at the Staples Center in February. According to Perry, “She has this one part where it’s like a kiss cam, and I just walked up to her to give her like a girly kiss, you know, as us girls do, and then she like, tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away.”
Although Katy enjoyed the concert, she was not as awestruck over the kiss. “God knows where that tongue has been,” she quipped. While Cyrus may have thought her move a clever play on Katy Perry’s song “I Kissed A Girl”, Perry wasn’t laughing. However, said Miley of the moment, “I just kissed a girl, and I really liked it a lot.” After a slightly heated Twitter feud, the two seem to have put this behind them and reclaimed their friendly status.
Lady Gaga does not seem to share such tender feelings for Katy Perry these days, though. Apparently, she doesn’t like her music being compared to Perry’s. During a keynote speech at South By Southwest music festival on March 14, she said this of Katy Perry: “Our music is so completely different. I couldn’t be more different, really. I really don’t fit in pop music in a way, but I came through it and I’d like to think I changed it in some way so you can feel like you don’t have to fit into a mold.”
And speaking of relationships, it doesn’t appear as if Perry is having the best of luck with them so far this year. Rumors are flying about the recent break-up of Katy and her boyfriend, John Mayer. Apparently, Katy has been concerned that John has not been faithful to her, and has allegedly broken off the relationship.
The Prismatic World Tour, in honor of her hit album, Prism, will be headed to Australia in November. Whatever is going on in Katy Perry’s personal life, the pop sensation’s professional life is as hot and healthy as ever.
