The Dangan Ronpa 2 release date has been announced shortly after the launch of the original title in the United States.

From what is being announced on numerous video game websites, the title of the sequel for the Vita is known as Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. The sequel has already done well in Japan, peaking at number 5 on the local charts. Reviews have the game have also been very positive, with scores ranging from nine to 10 out of 10.

Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is estimated to release for the Vita around the late third quarter to early fourth quarter of this year. This places the Dangan Ronpa 2 release date window between the months August to November.
