Jennifer Aniston Reaches 45, Tells Gloria Steinem ‘We’re In Deep Sh*t’

Jennifer Aniston did not go for a big birthday bash on Tuesday to celebrate reaching 45 years of age. Instead she opted for a quiet affair with friends at Soho House in L.A.

But Justin Theroux was not among them. According to an initial report from E!, a source explained that “It was all her friends,” it was a “mellow fun dinner,” and the birthday girl “was happy” to be there.

Jennifer Aniston’s guest list include agent Todd Shemarya, Jen Meyer, and former Friends co-star and BFF Courteney Cox.

Where was Theroux? He was in New York for the filming of his new HBO show,The Leftovers. He was also seen out-and-about with friend Orlando Bloom. They attended an event for the motorcycle club and clothing company Deth Killers of Bushwick.

Aniston and Theroux, 42, have been working on opposite coasts recently.

Theroux has been mourning the loss of his late friend Philip Seymour Hoffman. He was seen visiting Hoffman’s estranged partner Mimi O’Donnell at her New York apartment on Feb. 3, and later attended the Hoffman’s funeral.

On Feb. 10, Aniston interviewed feminist Gloria Steinem at the very first Makers Conference in Ranchos Palos Verdes, California. Jennifer made fun of the ongoing speculation about her personal life during the Q&A session.

“I know you’ve come up against this, and I certainly have too – where being a woman and our value and our worth is basically associated with our marital status or whether or not we have procreated,” she told 80-year-old Steinem, who also has no children.

Steinem replied.”Well, I guess we’re in deep sh*t,”

Aniston laughed at that and countered “That’s what I thought. Just wanted to make sure that was the case. That we are, in fact, in deep sh*t.”

Other speakers at the star studded conference included Sheryl Sandberg, Geena Davis, Gloria Steinem, Martha Stewart, Gwen Ifill, Gabrielle Giffords and Chelsea Handler.

Prior to Aniston’s relationship with Theroux, she dated both Vince Vaughn and Jon Mayer — not at the same time, of course! And before that there was her marriage to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.

Will Jennifer Aniston still consider herself to be in the “deep stuff”? Her biological clock may still be ticking, but the final alarm has not gone off.
