One Direction Singer Liam Payne Blows A Fuse Over Flight Delay [Rumor]
One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne reportedly lost his cool after a bomb threat ultimately delayed his recent flight to Pennsylvania.
According to a batch of rumors blowing around the internet, the singer wasn’t happy that the journey to his scheduled destination was delayed after someone threatened to blow everything to smithereens. Instead of calmly processing the situation, Payne malfunctioned and tossed out a few unfriendly words at the staff during his tirade.
Liam Payne was on a flight from Puerto Rico to Philadelphia when the situation went down. After the singer realized that he’d have to wait an additional four hours to see his girlfriend Sophia Smith, the situation apparently reached the boiling point.
“Liam was livid. He was tired and grumpy, and just wanted to get home because it was his girlfriend’s birthday. He snapped at officials and started swearing. Everyone was quite taken aback,” an anonymous source explained.
Realizing that he’d probably taken his frustrations a little too far, Payne reportedly apologized to everyone on-board the flight for his unruly behavior. He added that he didn’t mean to offend anyone with his temper tantrum, though it seems the damage is already done.
Not surprisingly, fans were a little shocked by Liam’s behavior during the flight delay. Since the plane couldn’t take off until everything was properly investigated, his decision to spout nastiness hasn’t settle too well with some folks.
“Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you should be a jerk to your fans. It’s hard to love someone who takes fame too far. Liam Payne, I’ve lost my respect,” one person said.
Of course, a few fans are more concerned with the fact that Liam Payne didn’t get what he wanted when he wanted it. Others used the delay as a chance to snag a photo with the singer. The Twitter reactions below are certainly amusing, though it’s clear these folks may have missed the bigger picture.

Thankfully, Liam Payne arrived at his destination safe and sound. Hopefully next time he’ll think twice before losing his temper over something as serious as a bomb threat.
