Miley Cyrus Longs For The Days Of Good Organic Weed
Miley Cyrus definitely has a few opinions about smoking pot.
The controversial “Wrecking Ball” singer doesn’t have a problem letting the world know that she simply adores marijuana. Cyrus caused fans and detractors alike to collectively gasp last year when she sparked up at the MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam.
Not surprisingly, Miley took a moment to discuss her penchant for smoking weed during a recent interview with W magazine. While speaking to interviewer Ronan Farrow, the singer shared her opinions regarding the type of marijuana that’s presently available to smokers.
“I love weed. I just love getting stoned… I just want it to be back to where it’s, like, organic, good weed,” Cyrus told the publication.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the former Hannah Montana star has taken a moment out of her insanely busy scheduled to discuss her love of marijuana. Apropos of absolutely nothing, Cyrus decided to tweet about weed last month.
“Everyone is in a relationship, getting married or having babies. And I’m over here like ‘I love weed,'” she told her millions of followers on the micro-blogging site.
Miley Cyrus told Rolling Stone last summer that she isn’t a fan of doing “gross and dark” drugs like cocaine. In her opinion, marijuana and Molly are happier and more social ways to destroy a few brain cells.
“I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana. People can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed,” the singer explained.
She added, “As long as it isn’t illegal, there are far more dangerous things… And it’s legal in the state of California, so I’m happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be.”
Miley also took a moment during her conversation with Ronan Farrow to discuss — what else? — her association with sexuality. The singer said she doesn’t understand what girls are wearing these days, adding that their fashion choices make them look like Vanna White.
Cyrus continued:
” It’s, like, personal style. I like that I’m associated with sexuality and the kind of punk rock shit where we just don’t care. Like Madonna or Blondie or Joan Jett — Jett’s the one that I still get a little shaky around. She did what I did in such a crazier way. I mean, girls then weren’t supposed to wear leather pants and, like, f***ing rock out. And she did.”
