Cameron Diaz’s Stress Free Motto With Exes

Cameron Diaz has had a long list of boyfriends including Alex Rodriguez, Jared Leto, Matt Dillon, and of course Justin Timberlake. Even though Diaz has gone out with some of the sexiest men in the industry, that doesn’t mean she can’t separate her feelings from the friendships she has with them. According to the carefree Charlie’s Angels actress she still keeps in touch with all of them, especially newlywed Justin Timberlake.

Diaz who will soon be gearing up for her latest comedic film with Jason Segel, explains that she’s thankful for still having her ex-boyfriends invested in her life.

“I’m still friends with my ex-boyfriends. I feel like all my relationships are strong – friends, family. I’ve invested in my people and they’re invested in me.”

One attribute of Diaz’s that makes her so easy-going is that the Annie actress doesn’t dwell on the past and would much rather “live in the moment.”

Cameron Diaz opened up to Self magazine about her life motto that keeps her young and stress free.

“I don’t look forward like that. I never have. Look back at my very first big press junket for a movie, and in one interview I was asked, “Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I don’t know. Happy, hopefully.”

Diaz continues to talk about her life philosophy but like anyone else she isn’t without typical worries.

“I’m not going to say that I don’t worry about the future or the past. But the things I’m most successful at in my life are the things that I’m totally present in. The more I realize that’s what makes me happy, the more I’m able to live in the moment. It’s like, “This is where I’m at. Here I am. And I’m f****** happy. This is awesome!”‘

Before her Self magazine interview Diaz spoke about her ex Justin Timberlake at length. Before he said “I do” to wife Jessica Biel, Diaz and Timberlake were in the middle of a film junket to promote their 2011 film Bad Teacher. Although it was years since they had been in a relationship, Diaz still gushed about Timberlake.

At the time she said of the “Mirrors” singer:

“Justin and I have always had a good laugh together, and to make a movie where we get to have a laugh together, and there really was no one else who was more perfect for this part.”

In addition to playing Miss Hannigan in the Annie reboot, Cameron Diaz will also star alongside Jason Segel in the sex comedy Sex Tape.
