Lindsay Lohan: New TV Series Was A Very Bumpy Ride, Says Oprah Winfrey

When you’re working with Lindsay Lohan, you should expect a few bumps along the way.

The troubled actress recently teamed up with Oprah Winfrey to shoot a reality series about her return to fame and fortune following a stint in rehab last summer. However, Winfrey admitted that working alongside Lindsay Lohan came with its own set of unique problems.

Although recent reports suggested that Lindsay Lohan often caused problems in the shooting schedule by jetting off without notice, Winfrey insisted that the show is still on track. However, she admitted that keeping Lohan on a leash was pretty difficult.

“There have been bumps, that’s life. It’s been bumpy, but as far as I know we are still filming,” Oprah said about working with Lindsay Lohan.

When asked if Lindsay was still in production, Winfrey insisted that everything was still on schedule. However, she wasn’t too sure where Lohan was hiding out.

“You would know more,” she remarked.

According to reports, Oprah talked to Lindsay Lohan about two days ago. However, she apparently had no idea that the Mean Girls star had recently taken a trip to London. Although Lindsay is still moving forward, here’s hoping Winfrey can keep the actress reigned in until everything is properly wrapped up.

Unless something happens between now and then, Linsday is presently scheduled to air on OWN this March. Chances are some of these bumps Oprah mentioned will play out for the camera. After all, a lot of the show’s appeal relies on Lohan acting up every once in a while.

In a clip from Lindsay that recently screened for critics, Oprah Winfrey is clearly a little stressed about dealing with Lindsay. One scene in particular finds Oprah losing her cool when Lohan refuses to take part in filming.

“This is just what everyone warned me would happen [working with her],” Winfrey says.

During her chat with Oprah last year, Lindsay Lohan seemed very interested in getting her life and career back on a positive track. If the recent clip is a sign of things to come, then apparently it doesn’t take long for the actress to fall back on her old tricks.

“[I’m] ready to get the thing that’s made me the happiest my whole life back, which is just work really hard and stay focused and prove myself in the way that I did before in the past that I lost. I have to regain the trust of people in my career that have their doubts and I fully respect that on their behalf,” she said.
