Sosie Bacon: ‘I’ve Been Walking As Much As I Can In Heels’

Sosie Bacon, the celebrity daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, is about to make her debut as ‘Miss Golden Globes.’ People magazine caught up with the star to see how her nerves were holding up.

Like most celebrity kids, Bacon will be donning her most stunning and eye-catching gown in order to escort award winners off the stage.

Sosie Bacon revealed that she is more than just a little bit nervous about the night, and is particularly worried about walking in high heels. She said:

I’ve been walking as much as I can in heels. It’s a difficult thing for me.

As well as the heels issue, it seems Sosie also has some make-up worries as well. She admitted that she was never good at doing her own make-up, adding that her mother Kyra wasn’t much help either:

“I don’t think [my mom] taught me any makeup tips. We’re not good at doing our own makeup. We never have been, either of us,” she said.

Luckily for Sosie, expert make-up artist, Kendra Richards, will be on hand to make her look beautiful. She already tried out three different looks on Sosie Bacon corresponding to different hairstyles.

She said about the first of three looks: “I didn’t expect to love the blue eyeliner — I barely wear any makeup, ever, so it was cool to try something new.”

Continuing to speak about the second look: “I think it makes me look really adult, and everyone’s always telling me I look so young, so this helps.”

Sosie Bacon told the magazine that she is trying to focus on preparing herself for the event and not to worry to much about the nerves: “I’m trying to keep it as stress-free as possible. I know it’s such a long day,” she said.
