Teleka Patrick, a Kalamazoo doctor went missing nearly three weeks ago, and newly surfaced YouTube videos may provide some clues in her disappearance. Patrick, 30, was last seen on a surveillance tape walking into the Radisson Plaza Hotel before taking a hotel shuttle to her car and then vanishing without a trace.
Two hours after she left the Radisson Plaza Hotel, Patrick’s car was discovered abandoned in a ditch off I-94, more than 100 miles away from the hospital in Kalamazoo where she worked as a resident according to ABC News. The last person to see Patrick, the hotel shuttle bus driver, said that she seemed agitated. Carl Clatterback, a private investigator hired by the family, stated that “she seemed as if she was looking around, as if someone could be following her.”
There has been no word from Patrick since her disappearance nearly three weeks ago. New YouTube videos have now surfaces that only add to the mystery of the situation. MLive Kalamazoo reported that these new videos, which were uploaded in November, show Patrick singing songs to an unknown love interest.
Clatterback told reporters that he does not believe that the videos had anything to do with Patrick’s disappearance on December fifth, but he is interested in knowing more about the person who she made these videos for.
“When you watch it, you have to wonder who is the beneficiary of all of this and I don’t know,” said Clatterback. “It makes me wonder who she’s doing this for and I don’t know yet who she’s doing it for. It’s another mystery in the investigation to find her … the only person who I think could answer the question of who she’s making this video for would be Teleka.”
These new videos were posted on November eighth and tenth, and both seem to be directed to the same unknown love interest. While Clatterback believes that the videos don’t have anything to do with Patrick’s disappearance, he does believe that these videos could shed some light on her state of mind.
ABC News stated that the FBI is now looking into Teleka Patrick’s disappearance.
