Flavor Flav Arrested, Fingerprinted and Released Over Previous Warrants


Flavor Flav was arrested in Las Vegas over the weekend when he was pulled over by police at 10:57 PM PST on Friday and it was discovered that several warrants were outstanding for the rapper.

According to Vegas police, Flav, real name William Drayton Jr. was wanted on four automobile-related charges including driving without insurance and two counts of driving without insurance.

Flav was taking to a local jail where he was fingerprinted, had a mugshot taken (shown above) and was held for a short period of time.

It’s not the first time the rapper has had a run-in with the law, in the 11th grade he was sent to jail for robbery and burglary and in 1991 he assaulted his then-girlfriend Karen Ross, sending him to jail for 30 days in 1993. Along with those stints he was charged with attempted murder for shooting a neighbor and in 2002 he was in Rikers Island for nine weeks for driving on a suspended license and refusal to pay various parking tickets, plus failure to show up at his probation officers required meeting time.
