Justin Bieber Dating Jacque Rae Pyles? Mutual Pal Cody Simpson Thinks So
Justin Bieber’s ambiguous relationship with longtime pal Jacque Rae Pyles hit the headlines a little while ago, after the brunette was seen at various high profile events with the teen star.
But after pictures surfaced of Pyles boarding a private Las Vegas bound jet with Bieber in September to attend Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s boxing face-off with Saul Alvarez, front row spotting of the pair at New York Fashion Week, and reveals of a holiday in the Bahamas amid evasive interviews from Jacque, it all went a bit quiet when Justin resumed his Believe tour after a break.
But now Australian teen star and former Believe tour mate Cody Simpson appears to have outed Jacque and Justin as an actual thing. The surprising revelation came during Cody’s new interview with J-14.
Shutting down recent rumors suggesting the “Pretty Brown Eyes” star had been flirting with Pyles, the 16-year-old told the magazine he’s known Jacque for years and was happy Justin had found a girl he likes hanging out with since his split with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
“I saw [Jacque] a couple of weeks ago. I’ve known her since I was 13 — for like three or four years now,” Cody told J-14. “We used to be good friends and I guess she’s with Justin and that’s really cool — I’m friend of his too. So, it’s cool to see them hanging out.”
Now, it’s possible that Cody’s Oz background means the phrase “she’s with Justin” doesn’t mean a intimate relationship. Equally, it could mean exactly that.
It’s also possible Bieber and Pyles’ reportedly on relationship has changed in the brief three weeks since Simpson last spent time with her. Either way, it’s an interesting reveal by Cody and doesn’t appear to have been a slip.
In other Simpson news, the former junior swimming champion just released the cover and tracklist for his new EP, The Acoustic Sessions.
The five-cut album will be released on November 19, features Cody playing guitar and the ukelele and includes a timely Christmas song ahead of the holidays.
The young singer has also brought out a new book, “Welcome to Paradise: My Journey,” detailing his rise from YouTube sensation to a headliner on his own tour.
Of his new EP, Cody explained he has reinterpreted “fan-favorites” in an “acoustic, organic style” and will be supporting it next year.
“[My EP] will also be accompanied by an acoustic tour in January, which I haven’t told many people yet,” Cody told J-14.com. “I’ve always dreamed of an acoustic tour. I’m excited for that.”
The heartthrob is also working on his third album, and from the sound of things Simpson is excited about how it’s progressing.
“I recently got in the studio to work on my third album for next year — which I think for a lot of artists, the third album is the lucky one,” Cody mused. “John Mayer, his third album was lucky — same with Jack Johnson.”
