Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid may have combatted dating rumors earlier this week, but have the former One Direction singer and model confirmed their relationship status?
Just days after Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid were spotted leaving a party together following the American Music Awards on Sunday, Malik and Hadid were spotted once again following a late night out in West Hollywood on Saturday.
TMZ reports that Zayn and Gigi were spotted holding hands while exiting The Nice Guy around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, despite entering the restaurant separately.
While video footage from the site shows Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik making a mad dash for their car while dodging camera flashes and questions about their rumored relationship, the duo can be seen interlocking fingers while making their way out of the restaurant.
Despite Gigi and Zayn remaining mum regarding the nature of their rumored romance, eyewitnesses recently revealed to E! News that Hadid and Malik looked very coupled up during a dinner date in Los Angeles earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were spotted having dinner with Gigi’s sister, Bella Hadid, in Los Angeles where an eyewitness says Gigi and Zayn “couldn’t keep their hands off each other” during dinner.
“They were holding hands under the table, whispering in each other’s ears, and Zayn [was] holding Gigi’s leg.”
The source continues, “Gigi was so attached to him that she even followed Zayn outside to the patio during a smoke break.”
Another witness from Gigi and Zayn’s apparent date night further explains, “Gigi and Zayn sat next to each other and looked like a couple, laughing and having a good time.”
Despite the speculation, a source close to Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik admits that it may be too soon to call the pair a “couple” just yet.
“They are just friends and are casually hanging out. She is not looking to jump into another relationship so soon,” Hadid’s source explains, “Gigi is a relationship-type kinda girl but she wants to just have some fun and take time for herself and her career at the moment.”

Similarly, Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas ended their brief relationship nearly three months ago due to their conflicting work schedules, although sources close to Gigi and Joe admit that there’s no animosity between them.
A source close to Hadid and Joe Jonas revealedto E! News, “They still remain friends but their schedules started affecting their relationship.” Meanwhile, Zayn Malik has kept quiet regarding his dating life since splitting from fiancée Perrie Edwards earlier this year. Zayn Malik shocked One Direction fans with the announcement of his decision to embark on a solo career separate from his One Direction bandmates, leaving some fans to blame Malik’s relationship with the Little Mix singer for his departure. Despite the accusations, Zayn Malik reportedly called off his engagement to Perrie Edwards via text just months after parting ways with One Direction and has since sparked romance rumors with Selena Gomez and Neelam Gill. Just last week, Zayn Malik opened up in a rare interviewwith Fadermagazine about the rumors that he chose to end his engagement to Perrie Edwards via text.

“If you could word it exactly this way, I’d be very appreciative. I have more respect for Perrie than to end anything over text message. I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that,” Zayn confessed.
