Zac Efron has a cocaine problem, and that addiction led the A-List actor to check himself into rehab.

Earlier reports suggested that Efron was suffered from alcohol abuse. TMZ’s sources claim that his coke problem is “huge” and spiraled out of control while he was filming Seth Rogen’s movie Neighbors. Neighbors was filmed over a short time frame beginning in April.

The source says, throughout filming, “It was common knowledge he was struggling with cocaine.”

Efron was reportedly a no-show for a number of shooting days.

Accompanying him on his cocaine ride was his friend “Molly” — a pure form of Ecstasy that is popular among club and rave fans.

An earlier report suggests that one of Zac Efron’s coke fueled nights led to $50,000 in damage at SkyLofts at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s not clear who footed the bill for those damages.

Zac’s rep says, “Don’t think we’ll be making a comment.”

With access to millions of dollars and easily available drugs, it is not uncommon for Hollywood’s young stars to fall prey to drug and alcohol addiction. Glee star Corey Monteith passed away recent after fighting his own young battle with rampant drug abuse.

Are you surprised by Zac Efron’s coke addiction?
