Yolanda Foster continues to fight back against the side effects Lyme disease as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 production gets underway. As Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump vacation in Europe for the cameras, Yolanda Foster is home in Malibu, California, where she continues to update fans on her health.

On July 13, Yolanda Foster posted the following message on Instagram.

“Never let your emotions overpower your intelligence….. #UncoveringTheMystery #ChronicLymeDiseaseAwareness #SearchingForACure #AffordableForAll.”

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, and since then, she has been battling the disease both in the States and outside the country. For years, Foster and her husband, David, traveled the globe in hopes of finding a cure, but sadly, in 2014, Foster suffered a Lyme disease relapse, which set her back even further.

As she wrapped filming on the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Yolanda Foster informed fans that she was no longer able to read, write, or watch television. She was also unable to participate in her weekly blogs for Bravo TV and was limited in her filming abilities at the Season 5 reunion (Although Yolanda Foster attended the taping, she left hours before filming wrapped).

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Yolanda Foster’s husband was reportedly hoping she would quit her job with Bravo ahead of the upcoming season in order to focus solely on her health. According to a Radar Online report months ago, a source claimed David Foster was encouraging her to leave the network, but Yolanda Foster was hoping to stay put .

“David has told Yolanda there is just no way she can return to the show because her condition is just getting worse. The Lyme disease is just ravaging her, and traveling for the international medical treatments is taking a toll. Yolanda is extremely weak, and her memory is suffering. David is just being protective because he doesn’t want any of the ladies to use her illness against her, as he knows those women are vicious.”

As for Yolanda Foster, the source claimed she wanted to stay with the show to spread awareness on Lyme disease and hopefully find a cure for the disease.

“It will break Yolanda’s heart if she can’t be on RHOBH because she wants to use the platform to raise awareness about the illness.”

Yolanda Foster has yet to make an official announcement about her role on Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .
