In WWE rumors, Nikki Bella might have caused the injuries to her neck and back because of her finishing move, the Rack Attack, according to Wrestling Inc .
When it was first revealed that Nikki Bella was going to be taking some time off of the road from WWE, the assumption was that the diva was doing so to hang out with John Cena.
Despite plummeting ratings for Monday Night Raw and Smackdown , John Cena surprised the wrestling world when he asked Vince McMahon to take several weeks away from WWE.
Many naturally assumed that Nikki Bella wanted to take some time off to be with her boyfriend until it was revealed that John Cena was taking time off for another television project.
Things were further clouded when Nikki Bella informed her fans on social media that she was heading to Europe. Many thought she was joining WWE for their annual tour.
That turned out to be false, as Nikki Bella then revealed that she was traveling to France with her family because her beloved grandmother had never been there before in her life.
Interestingly enough, the weekend that Nikki Bella was in France, the ISIS attacks in Paris occurred that left hundreds of people dead from various bombings and shootings.

After keeping everyone in the dark, albeit not likely maliciously, Nikki Bella finally revealed to her fans on Instagram that she was taking time off to heal from various injuries.
Nikki Bella had bumps and bruises like every WWE performer who is on the road every week out of the year, but her big issue was that she was having issues with some bulging discs.
There were talks that Nikki Bella was going to be making her return in January, which means that she would have been back in time for WWE to book her in a Royal Rumble match.
To counter the rumors, Nikki Bella took to social media to let her fans know that she will not be back and will find out at the end of January if she needs to have another surgery.
There are now speculations that the reason why Nikki Bella is having issues with her neck and back could be because of the finishing move that she uses. The Rack Attack is dangerous.
As you can see, Nikki Bella’s neck and back take the brunt of the entire weight of her opponents whenever she comes crashing down. That move compresses her spine every single time.
When Nikki Bella is on the road with WWE, she works a hectic full time schedule, in which she is wrestling three or four matches a week. Top performers usually have to work more.
Champions are usually booked to win their matches at live events, which meant that Nikki Bella was using the Rack Attack finishing move anywhere from 12 to 16 times a month.
There are also four episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown every month, where former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella would performer her finishing move every week.
If she does manage to get back on the road soon, WWE could simply have Nikki Bella come up with a less damaging finishing move, i.e. something that won’t be as strenuous on her neck and back.
The Burning Hammer would be an excellent alternative to the Rack Attack, as she basically modifies the move that she currently utilizes. Fans would already be familiar with the set up.
Another reason why the move would make sense for Nikki Bella is because the Burning Hammer is fairly similar to the Attitude Adjustment finisher that her boyfriend utilizes.
Nikki Bella needs the Burning Hammer.
