There are WWE rumors floating around that another big match is in the works for the WWE’s Survivor Series 2017 pay-per-view. The November event typically features traditional elimination matches in which two teams of four or more superstars compete against one another. Eliminations occur until one team is completely gone and the other team has at least one superstar remaining. With that said, it appears the big match in the works will involve a women’s elimination match involving the “Horsewomen” of WWE and UFC. This could mean the rumors of Ronda Rousey actually stepping into a WWE ring are even closer than once thought.
While rumors of the match were circulating before, it seems closer to reality. It was recently reported via Sportskeeda that the Wrestling Observer Newsletter discussed how the UFC’s “Four Horsewomen” are now all training in the wrestling ring. That includes Ronda Rousey along with her buddies Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, and Shayna Baszler. It’s reported that Rousey is training with WWE’s 205 Live star Brian Kendrick in California while Shafir is training in Orlando and Duke is training at Santino Bro Wrestling Academy in California. Baszler is the only individual who was reportedly signed with WWE and is at the WWE Performance Center for her training.

Of those individuals, Baszler had competed as part of the WWE’s Mae Young Classic Women’s Tournament. During the competition, she had support from her UFC training partners and there was even a video released from WWE in which a confrontation occurred. While being interviewed about Baszler’s participation in the event, Ronda, Marina, and Jessamyn soon found themselves face-to-face with Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair. While Becky and Charlotte are part of SmackDown Live and Bayley is part of Raw , all three of these women are part of WWE’s “Four Horsewomen.”
The only one missing from the promo video was “The Boss” Sasha Banks, but then again Bazler was missing as well due to participation in the Mae Young tournament. Most likely, WWE has something up their sleeves to make this match happen and it possibly involves Banks at some point. Sasha has no involvement yet in the upcoming WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs 2017 pay-per-view, which could be to allow her to get involved in this Four Horsewomen Survivor Series match rather than worry about a feud on Raw in the coming weeks.

The speculation of this match is certainly exciting for those wanting to see something different. While the UFC’s Four Horsewomen don’t have a lot of experience in the ring, the match could still be interesting to see.
