Last night on WWE RAW, a major feud in the WWE ended unceremoniously. Kevin Owens and Cesaro, who had one of the best feuds made of pure wrestling in recent memory, was not continued after a few months of great matches at consecutive pay-per-views. The WWE did a great job of putting two of the top wrestlers in the company against each other. Even though they split wins and losses, both men went over.

For both men, one of their futures is already solidified. As for the other, his isn’t looking so promising. Starting with Cesaro, he faced the Miz last night on WWE RAW. The bout didn’t go on for more than 10 minutes as the Big Show came out to interfere with the match. Miz ran away, which resulted in a count-out victory for Cesaro.

As soon as the Miz ran away from the Big Show, the former World Heavyweight champion started to walk towards the ramp, and he hit Cesaro with a Knockout Punch. Fans might assume that Cesaro, Miz, and Big Show seem to be headed for a feud in the near future. Whether the WWE Universe likes it or not, Cesaro isn’t getting the push anybody wants.

While Cesaro is headed for another mid-card feud, Kevin Owens may get his first title on the WWE’s main roster. According to Daily Wrestling News, the former-NXT champion is set for a huge match at Night of Champions .

“As indicated on last night’s RAW , it looks like Ryback will be defending the WWE Intercontinental Title against Kevin Owens at the Night of Champions pay-per-view.”

After Owens’ feud with John Cena, he landed on the map. The victory against Cena at Elimination Chamber was the push he needed to propel him to the next level of WWE. It’s especially great when Kevin Owens messes with John Cena fans on Twitter.

Nice to see you take a break from sending creepy tweets to women to send me this. You’re a 50 year old man. Stop it. https://t.co/EnCPPQojDl

If Kevin Owens can capture the Intercontinental championship from Ryback, he can start ascending up the WWE ladder where he belongs. A few wrestlers he can face are Ryback, the Miz, Randy Orton, and even a guy like Cena again. Once Owens becomes a champion, then WWE fans will start to attach themselves to him.
