WWE News: Dolph Ziggler Legitimately Frustrated With WWE

WWE management has come under fire after this past Sunday’s Royal Rumble , and it turns out that the WWE fans aren’t the only ones that are frustrated with the direction of WWE, as longtime WWE fan-favorite Dolph Ziggler has expressed his frustration via Twitter, and while doing so, challenged fellow fan-favorite Daniel Bryan to a match at WrestleMania 31 .

The idea behind Ziggler challenging Bryan to a match at WrestleMania is simple — Ziggler believes that he and Daniel Bryan would have such a great match that no one would be able to follow them. Not Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt [should that match happen], not Triple H vs. Sting, and not Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar. However, the common belief is that if WWE decides to have Ziggler and Bryan face off at WrestleMania , the match will only be given 5 to 7 minutes, which would make it extremely difficult for Ziggler and Bryan to “steal the show.”

I’m in! “ @HEELZiggler : Yo DB, was pulling for you, brother. but if you really want to steal the show #Wrestlemania Im here & angrier #RAW ”

— Bryan Danielson (@bryandanielson) January 27, 2015

Not only did Ziggler challenge Bryan via Twitter, he also reconstructed the Motley Crue song “Saints of Los Angeles,” making it into the story of himself and Daniel Bryan in WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer , there is some legitimacy to Ziggler’s tweet, as he’s grown extremely frustrated with WWE management.

“It’s one of those things that’s in character enough to be plausibly deniable but clearly has a lot of legitimate feelings behind it.”

At this past Sunday’s Royal Rumble , Ziggler — along with several other fan-favorites — was treated as an afterthought, and was unceremoniously eliminated, leaving Ziggler without much of a direction after the match.

Many people are predicting that WWE will not do the Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan match at WrestleMania , as the soon-to-be returning Sheamus will need an opponent, and WWE wanted to do Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus last year before the WWE fans forced Bryan into the main event. Also, it’s likely that Sheamus — should he match up with Bryan — will pick up the win, as he’ll be returning as a heel, and WWE will want him to win his first big match back.

What are WWE’s WrestleMania plans for Ziggler? As of right now, there are none. It’s possible that he could be matched up with Dean Ambrose, as both of them are without an opponent.
