It looks like WWE is planning on broadcasting another live event on the WWE Network, as they’ve announced that the October 3 WWE live event at Madison Square Garden will be shown on the WWE Network, and the event will, of course, feature the man who is arguably WWE’s biggest star, Brock Lesnar.
This past July, Brock Lesnar made the trip to Japan, and squashed Kofi Kingston, and, it appears that October’s WWE Network special will see Lesnar involved in another squash match, as Bryan Alvarez of Figure Four Weekly is reporting that WWE is planning on having Lesnar take on Bo Dallas at the MSG show.
On Monday’s RAW , WWE somewhat began to build towards the Bo Dallas vs. Brock Lesnar match by having Bo interrupt Lesnar when he, or, his advocate Paul Heyman called out The Undertaker. Lesnar proceeded to throw Bo all over the ring with German suplexes, and then he eventually hit him with an F-5.
Lesnar’s match with Bo Dallas probably won’t last any longer than the beat-down on RAW did, as Lesnar’s previous squash match against Kofi Kingston at the Beast in the East show lasted less than three minutes.
It’s unclear as to whether or not Lesnar will appear on WWE television again before his match on October 3, as it’s unlikely that he and The Undertaker will have another match before WrestleMania 32 , which is roughly eight months away.
It’s also unclear as to whether or not Lesnar will have another big match before WrestleMania 32 . Lesnar usually works at match at the Royal Rumble , so, it’ll be interesting to see if WWE has him wrestle someone other than The Undertaker. There’s always a chance that Lesnar could be put in the Royal Rumble match, and The Undertaker could screw him out of winning it.
As of right now, Lesnar’s next scheduled WWE appearance is at the October 3 show at Madison Square Garden. Below is the lineup for that show, which is, of course, subject to change.
- Seth Rollins vs. John Cena
- Brock Lesnar vs. Bo Dallas
- Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev
- Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro
This card could end up changing because, with the exception of the Lesnar match, the card is identical to this past Sunday’s SummerSlam card. Since the event is just over a month away, WWE has plenty of time to change the card if they want or need to.
