I am a Communications Specialist with degrees in Education, Literature and Philosophy, and was once paid to seek the grail. I am also a published poet who has taught both creative writing and technical writing. I had a ten year career in crisis intervention, with a focus on communications challenges, and a ten year career in education. During my time as a teacher, I developed, piloted and presented professional workshops for other teachers in such areas as layered curriculum, assessment and evaluation, student engagement and workplace sensitivity. I now write mostly for non-profit humanitarian causes, and have developed several multi media campaigns that were successful in reaching a world wide audience. I am also a freelance writer with several agencies and specialize in poetry, academic writing, press releases, search engine optimization, research, travel writing and news writing. I am also an avid gardener and an artist.
