Edwin is an independent journalist who has fallen in love with his job for the simple reason that it keeps him relatively well-informed and updated on a daily basis. His first stint in the exciting yet somewhat complicated world of journalism was five years ago when he worked as senior reporter and writer for the flagship magazine of a small print media network in Manila, Philippines. A social justice advocate and happily married for more than a decade and a half (no kids yet), he is currently working hard to fulfill his dream project of building a shelter that will house street kids turned high school grad orphans in his home country for their college education via a distance study program in partnership with duly accredited colleges and universities at home and abroad.
