The first picture of Will Smith in full Deadshot attire was released online Sunday — and it is definitely impressive.
Even if you initially hated the casting decision which turned Will Smith into Floyd Lawton for Suicide Squad , chances are that this picture is going to quickly place you on the fan bandwagon.
Suicide Squad director David Ayer used his official Twitter page to do the honors, revealing the picture of Will Smith dressed from head to toe as Deadshot on Sunday.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , a picture of the entire cast from Suicide Squad (with the exception of Jared Leto’s Joker) was released online first.
In the picture, Will Smith is featured wearing the Deadshot suit. However, he was not wearing the iconic mask and eyepiece which Deadshot fans and critics have come to love and adore over the years.
One of the highlights of the solo Deadshot photo, however, is the full mask and eyepiece that almost completely covers Will Smith’s head.
Earlier this week, Will Smith made headlines with on-set photos that were leaked online. Unfortunately, the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star did not look like Deadshot in those particular photos at all.
On the contrary, he actually looked just like his leading character from the 1997 film, Wild Wild West . The 46-year-old actor was actually slammed online by fans and critics for that very reason.

Bringing Deadshot to the big-screen is a definite change of pace for Will Smith — a man who has established a successful career in Hollywood by playing good guy roles that are morally ambiguous. However, according to Screen Rant , that is exactly what attracted Smith to playing Deadshot in Suicide Squad in the first place.
“I think I haven’t explored the psychology enough of Deadshot, somebody who could take money to kill people; how he justifies that for himself. So, I still have a little bit of work to do on that.”
Now that the first, official look of Will Smith fully dressed as Deadshot has been released to the world, fans and critics now just have to wait to see him in action on the big screen when the highly-anticipated film is released in theaters in August, 2016.
