While Penny and Leonard have just tied the knot on The Big Bang Theory , ironically, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are calling it quits. The actress and the tennis player have been denying rumors of trouble in their marriage for the last year after marrying 21 months ago.
The Inquisitr previously reported that on the season premiere of The Big Bang Theory , Penny and Leonard finally got married in a ceremony in Las Vegas, and though they eloped, their friends were able to watch the ceremony online.

People Magazine shared a quote from Cuoco and Sweeting regarding the upcoming spl .
“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” Cuoco’s rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. “They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”
Cuoco was feeling a lot of pressure from the public, and because of Sweeting’s professional disappointments.
“I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet – this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant ‘conversation’ regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make,” Cuoco wrote in April.

Hollywood Life believes that Cuoco did not see divorce in her future, as she continuously took to the press to defend her marriage and declare questions about them splitting false.
“So all of you who take it upon yourselves to trash our marriage, daily workings of our relationship and everything in between, go ahead and keep doing it, cause it only makes us stronger.”
Back in June, Cuoco and Sweeting were in London together on vacation.
“We love coming to London. It’s such a great city. I’m here for a few days with my man which is great.”
In the last week, Cuoco went on Watch What Happens Live on Bravo with Andy Cohen to further gush about her marriage, and say how lucky she feels that her husband and Big Bang Theory husband are great friends, and how lucky she considers herself.

Viewers can only imagine the what it’s like to have to pretend getting married in your professional life, while getting divorced in your personal life.
