When is the next Republican presidential primary debate, and which candidates will appear on stage during the second GOP debate of the campaign season? Find the full 2015-2016 debate schedule below, including the time, date, and TV viewing information.
The first GOP primary debate was held on August 6, with 10 more scheduled through March 2016. According to the Washington Post , the Republican National Committee (RNC) aims to have fewer debates during the current presidential primary cycle than were held in previous years. At this time, there is no word on whether the RNC will cancel or add to the list below.
The current debate lineup includes four more primary debates in 2015, starting with next week’s primetime GOP debate on September 16. Six more debates are currently slated to take place in 2016 ahead of this summer’s Republican National Convention. CBS News reports that the convention will be held between July 18 and July 21, 2016, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

September 16, 2015: The CNN Republican Primary Debate will be held at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California. Watch the entire debate and commentary on your local CNN cable channel and live streaming online on CNN.com (no cable subscription required to view debate). Jake Tapper, Dana Bash, and Hugh Hewitt are scheduled to be moderators.
First round debate begins at 6 p.m. ET — Santorum, Jindal, Pataki, Graham
Second round primetime debate begins 8 p.m. ET — Trump, Bush, Walker, Huckabee, Carson, Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Christie, Kasich, Fiorina
According to US Presidential Election News , the candidates for the remaining Republican presidential debates will be announced at a later date.

According to Public Policy Polling’s latest poll, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton holds a “modest lead” over the Republicans running for President. Ben Carson is currently “fairing the strongest” against Clinton among the GOP candidates. Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina also trail Clinton closely in the early September poll.
