After an exciting first round of the 2014 NFL draft, fans can watch the second round live online and see which big remaining names get taken off the board.
The first round was filled with the usual drama, including highly touted by often-doubted Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel slipping down to No. 22 , where the Cleveland Browns grabbed him with the pick they acquired from the Colts for running Back Trent Richardson.
Manziel, who had spoken highly of the Browns before the draft, said he loved his fit with the team.
“To be here feels right,” Manziel said. “Dawg Pound, here we come. I’m going to pour my heart out for this team.
“I truly believe Cleveland was supposed to be where I ended up.”
The Browns were involved in the other drama of the first round. They traded their No. 4 pick to the Buffalo Bills, who grabbed wide receiver Sammy Watkins, swapping the No. 9 pick and next year’s first and fourth round picks to Cleveland.
Fans who watch the 2014 NFL draft second round live online will see plenty of big names still on the board. Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr and USC wide receiver Marqise Lee are among the top players remaining.
As teams proved last year, the second round can be a goldmine for immediate impact players. Buffalo Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso and Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy were both nabbed in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft.
