Vicki Gunvalson has just scored a legal victory in her ongoing lawsuit with Robert Williamson III over Vicki’s Vodka. On September 1, Radar Online offered an update on Vicki Gunvalson’s case, revealing details from court documents filed at the end of last week.
According to the report, Vicki Gunvalson requested the judge make a summary judgment to end her and Williamson’s court battle.
“If any party was injured, it was the company Vicki’s Vodka, not Williamson personally,” Vicki Gunvalson claimed in the documents.
And for the most part, the judge on Vicki Gunvalson and Williamson’s case agreed.
“I grant summary judgment against Williamson with regard to unjust enrichment (Count IV), civil conspiracy (Count VI), and intentional infliction of emotional distress (Count IX),” the judge wrote.
According to the judge, Vicki Gunvalson’s former business partner, Williamson, did not “provide enough evidence” to substantiate claims made against The Real Housewives of Orange County star.
“I deny it with respect to Williamson’s claims for breach of contract (Count I), breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing (Count II), misrepresentations, fraud, and omissions (Count III); and promissory estoppel (Count V),” the judge continued.
The remaining charges against Vicki Gunvalson, however, will still need to be hashed out in court.
In addition, claimed the judge, Vicki Gunvalson has “not demonstrated” that “Williamson lacks standing” to bring his claims against her.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Vicki Gunvalson and her former boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, who was tied to the lawsuit but later dismissed from proceedings, announced their split earlier this month, and have been battling rumors ever since. “After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other,” the statement read. “We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time.”
Despite the ongoing rumors regarding their relationship, both Vicki Gunvalson and Ayers have insisted their split is civil, and Vicki Gunvalson continues to defend her former boyfriend against claims of having faked cancer.
