Vee Torres recently took to Twitter to confirm her pregnancy, after an unnamed source went to Radar Online with the news. The girlfriend of Jo Rivera is only about eight weeks along in her pregnancy, and it makes sense that she wasn’t ready to tell the world about her pregnancy, but was she ready to tell Kailyn Lowry?
Kail and Vee have had a tumultuous relationship over the years. The two women have not always gotten along, but recently they seemed to be doing better. It seems that everyone had put their differences aside and was doing their best to co-parent for Isaac, Jo, and Kailyn’s son. However, Vee recently revealed that telling Kailyn about the pregnancy was “not a priority.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Vee Torres admitted that she and Jo Rivera told Isaac the news over the weekend. It seems odd that they wouldn’t tell Kailyn Lowry as well, seeing as how Isaac could potentially have questions. Nevertheless, Kail likely found out when the news hit the web.
In the summer of 2014, MTV aired a Teen Dad special that, for the first time, focused on the fathers from the franchise. During one of Jo Rivera’s segments, he revealed that he didn’t know if he wanted to get married to Vee Torres or have more kids in the future, according to Radar Online .
“Okay, well I’m not going to sit here and say that I’m decided right now, I’m going to marry you and I’m going to have another kid with you, because I don’t know what I want. I don’t know if I want to get married or if I want to have another kid anytime soon. Then it keeps coming up. I’m kind of getting urged to do this sooner or within a certain amount of time. So it’s like… for me, I’m like, ‘Leave it alone. Like no.’ Like, ‘No, no, no! Because I’m not ready.’”
Of course, people change their minds. According to recent reports, Vee and Jo planned for their baby (who is due to arrive in October), so it seems that some things changed since the Teen Dad special.
Teen Mom 2 is currently filming for the sixth season of the show, and Vee Torres’ pregnancy will likely be talked about during the new season. An air date for Teen Mom 2 has not yet been announced by MTV.
