Tyler Blackburn is moving to Ravenswood .
Blackburn, who currently plays Caleb on Pretty Little Liars , will be joining the teen drama series’ spinoff . But fear not, PLL fans — the long-haired hacker isn’t leaving Rosewood for good.
“Blackburn’s character, Caleb Rivers, will travel to Ravenswood during the annual Pretty Little Liars special Halloween episode,” ABC Family said in a press release. “The Ravenswood series will premiere immediately after. Blackburn will still be seen in the upcoming summer season of Pretty Little Liars .”
So that means Haleb (Hanna and Caleb) will still be together for the upcoming season — if A doesn’t break them up, of course.
ABC Family announced the spinoff shortly after the season three finale of Pretty Little Liars last month. In addition to the spinoff, the network announced that Pretty Little Liars had been renewed for a fifth season.
Ravenswood is a neighboring town of Rosewood, where Pretty Little Liars takes place. The town has been under a deadly curse for five generations. Five strangers find themselves connected to the curse and must dig into the town’s history before it’s too late.
Three new characters have been revealed so far. First is Miranda, a 17-year-old who is “feisty, disarming, and unconventionally attractive.” Miranda is a foster kid with a lot of “emotional scars” and a tough exterior.
Next is 17-year-old Abel, the lone wolf of the strangers. Abel’s official description says he “may have something dangerous lurking inside him,” but what that is is unknown for the time being.
Then there’s Olivia, Abel’s twin sister and a former prom queen. Olivia has a fall from grace and has to figure out who her real friends are and what’s really important.
The other two strangers have yet to be introduced.
