Tori Kelly is making headlines this week with the release of her new album, Unbreakable Smile . She’s also making headlines for her collaborations with Meghan Trainor and Ed Sheeran.

Tori Kelly was “All About That Bass” when she collaborated with rising singer Meghan Trainor on Thursday night. Trainor was there to support Kellly’s new debut album. Trainor and Kelly got on stage for a special performance on “All About That Bass.”

Guests at the party also enjoyed Tori’s collaboration with Ed Sheeran . The two musicians collaborated on her album for the song “I Was Made For Loving You.” The new track is being described as “weepy,” “super dreamy,” “hauntingly beautiful,” and “completely addictive.”

Even Ed Sheeran agrees that Kelly’s new album is good, tweeting, “I wrote and sung on this song with tori Kelly. Album is out now and I think it’s amazing. Check it out. (sic)”

When Tori Kelly released her new album, Unbreakable Smile , on Tuesday, June 23, it immediately went to the top of the iTunes Top Charts Albums . Kelly says that her new album has been long overdue since the 22-year-old has been in the industry for 10 years. She started singing when she was 3-years-old and won America’s Most Talented Kid . Kelly also appeared on American Idol in her teens, where she was given a platform to create her fanbase, thanks to YouTube.

Tori’s new album is a mix of pop and R&B with some acoustic guitar and piano sprinkled throughout. Although it’s not a standout hit, Unbreakable Smile has been getting positive reviews. CBS Philly believes that Tori is finally getting the recognition she deserves.

“Unbreakable Smile is supported by the infectious ‘Nobody Love’, which is Kelly’s first hit single after years of working towards it. The album takes the same cue, with a little help from Ed Sheeran and LL Cool J. Ladies happen to love both of them, and likely will Tori Kelly as well.”

Merna Jibrail of AndPop thinks it’s a solid album with some possible hits.

“This album is one you can both dance and cry to while listening to it. It’s worth the first listen and the many more you’ll surely have after that. The only problem is it lacks the singles Tori needs in order to build the momentum she needs for mainstream success. Putting the songs she has already released aside, her best bet would probably be the Ed Sheeran-assisted track ‘I Was Made For Loving You.’”

Tori Kelly’s new album and music will continue to pick up steam as time goes on. The singer also got one million Instagram followers on Wednesday, June 24, so there’s no doubt that she’s next to take over the music charts.
