Tom Brady Throws His Full Support For Donald Trump, Golfing Buddies Have Nothing But Affection for Each Other

It sure pays for a presidential hopeful to have a good friend like Tom Brady on your side. Of course, that all depends on how you look at it. The football pro has basically just endorsed Donald Trump, as close as you can get anyway. The two high-profile men are well known golfing buddies and have known each other since 2002. According to CBS Sports, Brady had mentioned at a press conference on Wednesday that he thinks Trump would make a great president.

Why would the topic of politics even come up in a press conference in the first place? Apparently, the New England Patriots quarterback has an official hat that totes “Make America Great Again,” which is what the Trumpster has been repeating throughout his campaign. It seems that Tom Brady may agree with that statement, or at the very least, he loves his new hat. That cap has been seen in his locker at Gillette’s Stadium and Tom had this to say to the reporters who asked about it.

“I just thought it was a nice keepsake. It was a nice piece of memorabilia he sent me.”

The two golfing buddies have been known to pal it up on the golf course for a while now and if the media mogul does make it into the presidency, Brady is pretty sure there will be some putting going on, in between the regular duties of the head of our country, of course. But does The Donald have what it takes to win? Tom was pretty positive that he did.

“I hope so. It would be great. There would be a putting green on the White House lawn, I’m sure of that.”

While Tom Brady has had to deal with the whole Deflategate controversy, Trump has had his own share of controversy surrounding him pretty much every day. But that is how he likes it. He does love to have the football player in his corner though. They seem to have each other’s backs.

While Brady has not come right out and said that he is definitely voting for his friend in the general election, it seems to be pretty clear that he thinks he would do a pretty darn good job at being president.
