The holidays are just ahead, but Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday’s show indicate that not everybody is feeling the Christmas spirit. Things remain tense for both the Abbott and Newman families, and that is a significant focus in Tuesday’s episode. What can viewers expect from the December 22 show?
As She Knows Soaps details, Victor will tell Abby, Victoria, and Noah that everybody has to be working hard every day until Newman Enterprises is back on top, even through the holidays. When Abby voices some frustration over how Victor handled Jabot, he offers to replace her.

Viewers watched on Monday’s episode as Phyllis got both Jack and Billy to the Abbott cabin, hoping to smooth things over between the two. Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Jack will talk about Billy bringing down the Abbotts, so despite not having a car, Billy leaves. Phyllis and Jack will argue about Billy, but soon she convinces him to lend some support.
Jack will go find Billy, but they continue to butt heads. Billy talks about how Adam’s return has brought back all of the sorrow and despair he felt over Delia’s death, and Jack worries just how far Billy would go to get away from the pain. Billy says that he has Johnny and Katie to think about, so he isn’t planning to end his life. However, he is clearly lost and laments that neither Jack nor Victoria can forgive him for the mess he’s made of his life.
As the two talk, Jack comes around a bit. The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Jack will detail that Billy will have to pull himself together and prove himself, and he’s not sure Billy can do it. However, Billy promises to do his best. Billy may be on the brink of trying to turn things around, but it is said that he is about to face a life-threatening medical crisis. Big changes are ahead for Billy , and it’ll force Jack, Victoria, and everybody else to examine their willingness to support him.
Elsewhere in Genoa City, Chelsea, Adam, and Connor plan to spend a day together. They run into Sharon, Faith, and Dylan, and Adam and Sharon spend some moments together. This is the first time they’ve been together since Adam’s real identity was revealed, and they talk a bit about Sully, their past together, and where they are in life now. Chelsea and Dylan talk as well, and he will later fill Sharon in on the chat and talk about forgiveness.

Nikki will tear into Victor about how he is acting like a Scrooge about Christmas, and they will argue a bit. Adam will later show up, and Victor is a grouch about everybody else leaving. Adam will try to lighten the mood a bit, but eventually Victor continues working alone. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Adam will later talk about how he would have stayed to work with Victor had he been asked, and he thinks that Victor needs him right now.
According to Soap Central , Nikki and Victor will both soften up a bit later in the week and viewers will see Jill and Victoria talk about Billy. Lily reaches out to Cane while Traci visits Genoa City for the holiday. In addition, there will be new developments in the difficult relationship between Devon and Hilary. Will the holidays be filled with cheer or tension this year? Fans can’t wait to find out as the drama continues on The Young and the Restless .
