If you’re looking for something to brighten your day, look no further than this video of a little fan of the Boston Bruins, so psyched about being rinkside that he gives a fist bump and a smile to every player as they pass.
The video went up yesterday, courtesy of YouTube user HockeyWebCaster , and it’s just about the cutest thing you’ll see on ice. The unnamed little kid – decked out, of course, in Bruins gear – is ecstatic to see the Bruins doing their thing in the pregame warm-up. So ecstatic, in fact, that he gives every Bruin that passes him a pint-sized fist bump.
It’s so cute that we can’t even get upset over the fact that everyone still calls it a “fist bump” instead of “dap” or “pound.”
You’ve also got to love the fact that the kid is undeterred, even though the first Bruin to return the gesture obviously hurts his little hand a bit. Just the joy on the littlest Bruins fan’s face is enough to melt the coldest of hearts.
Kudos, too, to the Bruins players, who each make sure to give the kid some dap on their way off the ice.
