Teresa Giudice shared a tweet from prison on September 24. As the Pope continues his journey through North America, Teresa Giudice, star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey , shared her thoughts online.

Teresa Giudice is currently incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, where she’s serving a 15-month term for charges of bank and wire fraud. She and husband Joe received prison time during their October 2014 sentencing, and after Teresa Giudice’s term is complete (her release date is December 23), Joe will be forced to serve 41 months behind bars.
In the months leading up to Teresa Giudice’s prison release, her husband and their four children have been filming a documentary about their time without her. The series, titled The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In , will air in three parts starting on October 11.
Two weeks ago, over eight months into her prison term, Teresa Giudice’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., offered an update on her health and future plans during an interview with E! News.
“She’s in absolute tip-top shape. She’s rock-hard mentally, physically and emotionally. When she comes home people are going to be very surprised. It’s a whole new Teresa coming home… She’s getting back in touch with her faith. She’s spending a lot of time praying in there, and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people.”
“There are so many opportunities that she has… I think she’s going to take it one day at a time, but her focus is, ‘I want to get back to my freedom, I want to get back to my husband, I want to get back to my parents, my children, and then kind of take it as it goes.’ But I expect that you’ll be seeing her shortly after she comes home.”
