Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been dealing with some serious drug accusations from fans after she was arrested recently for throwing a glass at her ex-fiancé’s, Nathan Griffith’s, new girlfriend. In Jenelle’s mugshot, her face appeared to look like it may have marks on it commonly found on the faces of people who abuse the drug.
Now, Jenelle Evans is speaking out about the meth rumors that fans have been gossiping about online. The Teen Mom 2 star told RumorFix that she is absolutely not using meth, or any other drug for that matter.
“I know a lot of people have been saying I’m on drugs, but I am definitely not. Because I have acne [in the photo], everyone’s like ‘she’s on meth! She’s on menth’ — but, no! And come to find out it was ‘my time of the month’ right after I got out of jail so I was like’that’s what’s going on!’ But now [my acne] is all cleared up … but around ‘that time’ my face just goes crazy!”
OK! Magazine reveals that Jenelle Evans has battled drug addiction in the past. When fans first met her on Teen Mom 2, she was smoking weed a lot. Evans even went to rehab to try and deal with her addiction to the drug. However, things got much worse from there.
After having two relationships with men who were heroin users, Jenelle herself got addicted to the intense drug and was even arrested for possession in 2013. However, the Teen Mom got off the drug and has tried hard to stay off of drugs ever since. Since that time, Jenelle welcomed another son, Kaiser, with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith, and completed college.
As for Evans’ latest arrest for throwing a glass at Nathan’s new girlfriend, Jessica, Jenelle says she thought she was defending herself against an attack.
“I thought she was trying to attack me because she got out of the truck and came to my driveway. I was defending myself – my son was inside the house upstairs sleeping and I was not comfortable with these people just coming to my house.”
The Teen Mom 2 star went on to explain that the glass slipped out of her hand and hit Jessica in the head, and then Jessica picked up the glass and threw it back at her. Evans says she then went back inside her house and Nathan Griffith called the police, telling them that the reality star had thrown the glass. The police arrested Jenelle and she was later released.
