Teen Mom 2 star Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, are reportedly expecting a baby girl in January. Although there had previously been rumors swirling, claiming the Teen Mom 2 couple was having a baby boy, the Ashley’s Reality Roundup confirmed news of their daughter on September 25, revealing her name was expected to start with the letter “R.”
The Teen Mom 2 couple began dating months after Simms split from his first wife, Leah Messer, the mother of his twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, 5, and tied the knot in June 2013. Since then, they have been co-parenting with Messer, and looking forward to the day they will welcome a child of their own, which is now just months away.
According to a second report by the Ashley’s Reality Roundup , Miranda will soon face off with Messer during the Teen Mom 2 reunion. After wrapping filming on Teen Mom 2 earlier this year, the two women traveled to Los Angeles, where they filmed the special Teen Mom 2 episode, and reportedly engaged in quite the dramatic on-set feud.
“She is fed up with Leah’s lies and inability to take responsibility for her poor parenting choices. Despite what you see on TV, Leah and Miranda have not gotten along for years. Leah’s entire family hates Miranda. They blame her for severing the decent coparenting relationship that Corey and Leah had, but really there were many reasons that they stopped getting along, not just because of Miranda.”
As fans have seen on Teen Mom 2 , Simms and Messer have also been at odds due to her alleged drug problem. While Messer has insisted she does not have an addiction issue, Simms has made it clear that he feels she’s hiding the issue, and doesn’t feel safe when his children are with her. Messer’s second husband, Jeremy Calvert, also expressed his concern over Messer’s “prescription pill problem,” which he spoke of during a meeting with Simms on Teen Mom 2 .
“Miranda called Leah out for putting the twins in potential danger. Everyone on set was stunned. No one expected Miranda to go off like that because she’s usually quiet. Leah couldn’t really even deny that she bashes Corey in front of the kids, because it’s true. Leah couldn’t really deny anything Miranda was saying.”
