Taylor Swift just celebrated her 26th birthday and, as every young adult would, invited her boyfriend to the family reunion. The only difference? The man in question is 31-year-old superstar DJ, Calvin Harris. Nothing weird then!
Taylor’s parents, Scott and Andrea, looked to have enjoyed the company, with the mom being snapped sharing a joke with Harris , as reported in Us Magazine . They all celebrated with a fancy dinner in Beverly Hills before attending a huge Christmas-themed birthday party.

Taylor and Calvin have been going strong, contradicting speculations of a break up, and meeting the parents is a pretty big step no one can ignore! It’s not clear whether Harris had been introduced to Taylor’s parents before, but if it was a first meeting, it looks like it went pretty well!
The Swift family was pleased to have their daughter back, after Taylor spent months on the road for her “1989” tour. The 26-year-old looked classy as ever, in a casual but chic black top and skinny jeans. Taylor was wearing her signature red lipstick, and Calvin looked equally as relaxed in a black t-shirt and cargo pants.
Amid recent accusations by feminist Camille Paglia that Taylor is a Nazi Barbieand that her squad of girlfriends doesn’t do much for feminism and is more exclusive than inclusive, Swift decided to spend a low-key time surrounded by her close family and boyfriend.
No need to worry about the Swift-Harris romance, then, as it all seems to be going well for the couple who likes to keep quiet about their private life. Since wedding rumors began going around in November, neither Taylor nor Calvin have confirmed or denied properly where they were at.
According to the Daily Mail, Calvin and Taylor’s parents enjoyed each other’s company, and the birthday lunch was a success.
Although none of her friends were present for the lunch, many took to social media to wish the 26-year-old popstar a happy birthday. Taylor herself posted an adorable shot of herself as a toddler to get the celebrations started.
After lunch, Taylor and Calvin headed to a Christmas-themed party at Jimmy Iovine’s Malibu home, where they posed with Santa and all seemed in very high spirits.
Other celebrity birthday messages included one from Blake Lively, with whom Tay Tay had recently spent an afternoon in a theme park. Blake captured the picture “Here’s a reason ‘#friendshipgoals’ was invented because of her. Thank you @taylorswift for the happiness you bring to not only everyone that knows you, but also to those who don’t — you’re the real deal. Happy Birthday!”
Swift was recently criticized for welcoming all her famous friends on stage with her during her 1989 tour, but replied to the comments very honestly , as reported in the Telegraph. She said those were the rare opportunities she had to see her friends, and it would be weird not to have them there with her as they are some of her biggest supporters.
