Taylor Swift’s list of pop star feuds continues to grow. Ever since the country singer took over the pop scene, she’s been getting into feuds with some of her popular contemporaries. According to several news outlets, Avril Lavigne now has bad blood with Taylor Swift.
As previously reported via the Inquisitr , Taylor Swift, 25, is pretty active on Tumblr. She’s sometimes a little too active, as her Tumblr likes have revealed that she’s a little too into herself and her dedicated fan base. Now, it looks like other singers are noticing Swift’s Tumblr likes.
The “Wildest Dreams” singer is getting slammed by Avril Lavigne for comparing their meet and greet photos . Taylor liked a post that compared the difference between her meet and greets with some of her pop contemporaries. The photo include Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Kanye West, and of course, Taylor’s arch nemesis, Katy Perry. It looks like Taylor only liked the pic to diss Katy, since the two singers are an alleged feud, which caused “Bad Blood” to happen.
The comparison photo included the caption: “This is most celebs with fans. Not the difference…(because we are not fans, to her, we’re her FRIENDS.)”

The photo didn’t sit too well with Avril Lavigne’s fans. They took to Tumblr and Twitter to call out Taylor Swift for pitting women against women by liking the post and comparing the two pop stars. (Hmm, that sounds familiar !) Some fans also noted that the user who posted the comparison photo intentionally chose awkward photos of Perry, Lavigne, and the other stars being compared to Swift. Avril Lavigne, 30, caught wind of the photo that quickly went viral. She took to Twitter to slam Taylor Swift for slamming her meet and greet photos.

Avril even included a link to the Tumblr post, so it was obvious that she was slamming Taylor for liking the photo in the first place. She then went onto to share collages of her meet and greets with her fans. Avril added: “So let’s keep it all about the love and stay positive.”

Taylor’s list of pop star feuds continues to grow, as she continues to take over the music genre. Over the past year, Taylor already has had feuds with Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, and Katy Perry. Even Taylor’s boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, has gotten into his share of online feuds with Zayn Malik and other pop artists.
Is music’s new “It” couple finding it lonely at the top?
Maybe Swift should finally privatize her Tumblr likes, since people outside of her fan base are catching on. Swift’s Tumblr likes look kind of self-serving and narcissistic, since she only likes posts about fans fawning over her. Instead, Swift should learn to privatize her likes and use her blog like an actual blog, by sharing her daily thoughts, her songwriting process, and some of her favorite things.
Taylor Swift has not yet responded to Avril Lavigne’s tweets, but she’ll probably just let it blow over. Or, maybe she’ll feel forced to apologize to the “Hello Kitty” singer, like she did with Nicki Minaj.
