Tamar Braxton’s husband Vince Herbert is speaking out about the rampant divorce rumors swirling around the couple’s marriage.
After reports began to circulate claiming that the two were heading for a divorce, Herbert shot down the rumors in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight , claiming that his marriage to Tamar is “totally fine.”
“When God blesses people, there are always people who are going to try to tear them down,” Vince admitted, denying once and for all that he and Braxton are heading for divorce.
A source close to the couple also denied the split rumors to the site, claiming that Tamar and Vince are actually “doing fine and they are happier than ever.”
Love B Scottfirst alleged that Tamar and Vince were preparing to divorcelast week, claiming in an exclusive report that a divorce was imminent after Herbert allegedly discovered that Tamar had been unfaithful.
The site claimed that Vince had supposedly been suspicious of his wife, who was let go from the daytime talk show The Real earlier this year, for a while now, and allegedly opted to hire a private investigator who then discovered that Braxton had cheated.
“He doesn’t know who Tamar is anymore. He says she’s not the same woman he married eight years ago,” a source told the site of Vince.
The Tamar insider then went on to claim that Herbert was also looking to get full custody of his and Braxton’s son, Logan, should the couple divorce.
“[Tamar’s] too busy going on vacations to worry about the drama at home,” the source told Love B Scott of the possible divorce. “He has the baby and that’s the only thing he’s concerned about.”
But despite the report, Vince’s denial comes just one day after Braxton also revealed that things are all good between the couple in a candid video posted on her official Instagram page on July 17 as the divorce rumors swirled.
Tamar Braxton took to the social media site to post a sweet video of herself singing in Vince’s ear, which came just hours after the split rumors first began to circulate.
“After all these years he STILL hates when I sing in his ear,” Tamar captioned the clip, which showed her singing Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby” into Herbert’s ear, alongside a heart emoji and the hashtag #Tamar&Vince.
Tamar is yet to officially speak out about the divorce rumors aside from the video, though Braxton’s sister Towanda Braxton made it known that she was staying tight lipped when asked about the reports by a fan on social media.
“Until @towandabraxton confirms the info on her sis herself – I’m not believing any blog,” a Twitter user wrote in regards to Love B Scott ‘s bombshell divorce report, to which Towanda replied by revealing that she wouldn’t be saying “one word” about the Tamar and Vince claims.
“Shucks… ain’t saying one word,” Towanda tweeted back to the fan who asked about her sister’s possible divorce. “Last time I told the truth I got beat up in the media! No thanks!”
The divorce rumors began to circulate just months after Tamar was let go from The Real, after which Hollywood Lifeclaimed that Vince, who served as a producer on the series, did everything he couldto save Braxton’s job.
An insider told the site at the time that Tamar “doesn’t believe he knew she was about to get fired from that show,” but added that even if Vince was aware of the situation, Braxton “believes he was trying to protect her and fight for her to keep her job behind the scenes.”
“He’s been nothing but loving and supportive of Tamar. That’s her ace,” the insider added.
