The Kids Choice Awards 2015 is enjoyed by children worldwide, not only because they like to see their favorite stars win awards, but because they like to see them get slimed . This year saw plenty more celebrities getting slimed as well as some celebrities lining up in a bid to get slimed at the Kids Choice Awards 2015. While many stars were hesitant to get the green treatment, not so for Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea ! She professed while on the orange carpet at the beginning of the Kids Choice Awards 2015 that she was looking forward to it.

While her wish was not to eventuate at the Kids Choice Awards 2015, plenty of other stars were slimed. Among the most dramatic were the cast of Modern Family , who thought they had narrowly missed getting dumped on, the cast of Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans getting the human slime car wash, and Adam Sandler “accidentally” shooting Pixels co-star Josh Gad with a slime gun.

On the night, Iggy Azalea performed her latest hit “Trouble” alongside Jennifer Hudson.

While the Kids Choice Awards 2015 is a kid-centric event , among the audience were plenty of celebrities, many of them with their children in tow. Angelina Jolie was seen with two of her children, Zahara Marley and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, both of whom cheered her on when she accepted her award for Best Villain in Maleficent . Jolie gave an empowering speech, possibly aimed at her daughter, Shiloh .

“I want to say when I was little, like ‘Maleficent,’ I was told that I was different — and I felt out of place, and too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And then one day I realised something, something I hope you all realise. Different is good.”

Gordon Ramsey was also spotted with his wife and children, but David and Victoria Beckham opted to send their eldest child, 16-year-old Brooklyn, as chaperon to his siblings, Romeo and Cruz, to the Kids Choice Awards 2015.

Top awards of the night included: Favorite Movie – The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 , Favorite Female Singer – Selena Gomez, Favorite TV Actor – Ross Lynch ( Austin & Ally ), Favorite Male Singer – Nick Jonas, and Favorite Music Group – One Direction.
