Eddie Cibrian’s wife, LeAnn Rimes, was accused of “stalking” his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, on social media earlier this month and now, he’s admitting that he and the country singer have checked up on the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star.
Although Cibrian and Rimes have looked at Glanville’s social media feed, the actor said in a new interview that they only did so due to Glanville’s intoxication during a recent visit to the Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California.
“Brandi was very drunk and after already being at our table, started to come back again,” he recalled to Us Weekly magazine on June 13.
Eddie Cibrian then revealed that Brandi Glanville’s boyfriend, Donald Friese, attempted to run interference for the controversial reality star and asked if she could take a couple of photos with her kids, Mason, 13, and Jake, 10, who were eating at the restaurant with Cibrian and Rimes at the time. From there, after reportedly witnessing his ex-wife’s behavior, he was admittedly concerned about what she may post online. In turn, he and Rimes checked out Glanville’s account to make sure there was nothing inappropriate shared.
In response to Eddie Cibrian’s statement, Brandi Glanville released a statement of her own, revealing that the actor failed to explain why her social media account had been viewed before her visit to Nobu.
According to Brandi Glanville, her ex-husband’s statement doesn’t explain why LeAnn Rimes and her assistant were allegedly watching her boyfriend’s posts on Snapchat before they got to the Malibu restaurant. As she explained, Glanville questioned the timing of Cibrian and Rimes’ visit to Nobu and ultimately learned that they had viewed Friese’s Snapchats beforehand.
“This happened while we were at the restaurant. [Eddie Cibrian] states he looked at them after he got home,” Glanville said.
Glanville went on to reveal that she is uninterested in going back and forth with her former husband and his new wife and asked them to leave her and Friese alone.
Eddie Cibrian and Brandi Glanville were married for nine years when Cibrian and Rimes were caught having an affair while filming their Lifetime movie Northern Lights. Two years later, Cibrian and Rimes tied the knot in Southern California as Glanville began her reality television career with a role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Since then, she’s appeared on My Kitchen Rules with Rimes’ ex-husband, Dean Sheremet, and also appeared on Famously Single .
