Evelyn gets some questions from her friend Mikayla about rushing into marriage with David on 90 Day Fiance Season 5. She is only 18 years old, and Mikayla believes it is a very young age to get married. However, Evelyn is not willing to listen to her friend.
Mikayla is worried that her friend Evelyn might be making one of the biggest mistakes in her life by marrying David, 27. In the sneak peek video from TLC, Mikayla said Evelyn and David have only been together for just two weeks and in a relationship for less than a year. Two weeks is not long enough to really get to know each other, she added.
Mikayla told Evelyn that they can’t live on just love. They need money for food and apartment. Evelyn argued that she and David trust that God will provide everything they need. Her friend said Evelyn still needs a lot of growing up to do and she should be exploring more of the world instead of getting married young. If she is so in love now, it should be worth it to wait for two to three years more.

But for Evelyn, there’s nothing wrong about it and she would not listen to what Mikayla was trying to say. Her parents, who also got married when they were teens, have no problem that their daughter is going to be a teenage bride as well. This gives Evelyn more confidence to marry David despite her age.
Evelyn is an aspiring singer from New Hampshire while David is from Granada, Spain. David got attracted to Evelyn’s looks and they began connecting on social media. According to The Hollywood Gossip , the couple has potential for drama and controversies because of their age and their Christian beliefs. In the trailer for 90 Day Fiance, Evelyn said she and David are saving themselves for marriage. But what if they don’t really share the same beliefs? In addition, David wants to settle in a big city while Evelyn wants to remain close to her family. That would be something they need to sort out.
