It’s official T-Mobile will begin offering HSPA+ supported tablets in 2011. The U.S. division of the carrier announced their plans on Friday, stating that 4G support will be available in the new year. It should be noted that T-Mobile is calling their HSPA+ network 4G, which at best is a loose definition of the term.

HSPA+ Tablets are expected to include devices ranging from Android tablets to Windows 7 units and even RIM’s Blackberry PlayBook.

During early 2010 T-Mobile promised to increase their networks speeds 2 fold, from 21Mbps to 42Mbps, although there’s no information on how those new speeds will be achieved at this time.

Are you ready to pick up an HSPA+ enabled tablet from T-Mobile?
