Currently you’ll receive Windows 6.5, however early rumors are pointing to a Windows 7 upgrade as soon as that OS is released.
I’m not sure how many iPhone users will be willing to jump ship, but if you have to move over to T-Mobile for some reason and you don’t want to jailbreak your iPhone this could be a good route to take.
