Rap mogul Suge Knight suffered a panic attack and was rushed to the hospital. The panic attack happened after the rap mogul appeared in court to state his innocence in a slew of charges.

According to E!, the troubled rapper pleaded not guilty to one count of murder, two counts of hit-and-run, and another count of attempted murder. These charges came down on Suge when a hit-and-run killed his friend, Terry Carter.

As the Inquisitr reported , it’s believed that Suge Knight was aiming for actor Cle Sloan, but instead hit Terry Carter by accident. The Los Angeles Police Department thought they had video of the incident that happened in Compton. Knight and his attorney, James E. Blatt, were once hoping that the video footage would act in his favor, but according to TMZ this is unlikely. The supposed video footage apparently doesn’t exist. The “recorder from the Tam’s parking lot where the victim was struck and killed was not operating and the surrounded businesses tell us they didn’t capture it either.”

In hopes to get out in front of the news, Knight’s lawyer confirmed with Entertainment Weekly that Suge ran over “two bystanders when he tried to escape an altercation with two other men on the set of a film project where Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were present.”

Suge Knight and Dr. Dre’s meeting in Compton was an attempt to find peace between the two rivals. Suge arrived on set for the commercial “Straight Outta Compton” and got into a physical altercation with Dr. Dre’s security. Suge was then ordered to leave by police officers that were around. Later on, Suge’s late friend Terry Carter contacted Dre to squash their problems. When Terry and Suge arrived to another location, they got jumped.

Since reports surfaced, Dr. Dre has denied that there was ever a call for peace between he and Knight. According to sources close to Dre, the rapper wasn’t interested in hanging out with Suge because he has so many enemies in the business.
