Sprint Wireless has decided to follow the lead of Verizon Wireless and cut the pricing on the HTC Touch Pro2 to a more respectable $199.99. The price move will take effect on October 1st 2009 both online and at brick and mortar Sprint locations.
The new pricing does of course come with some stipulations. First customers must sign a 2 year contract and they’ll also need to send in a mail-in rebate to fully take advantage of the new pricing.
Already bought your Touch Pro2? According to recent reports some customers who have contacted Sprint about the price cut have received credits for the difference.
$199.99 is really not a bad price to pay for a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device with a sliding qwerty keyboard, 3G data connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 + A2DP, WiFi and GPS. [ BoyGeniusReport ]
