Sophie Lloyd, the guitarist for Machine Gun Kelly's band, recently spoke up against the cheating rumors that have been circulating about her and the rapper. In a statement released on social media, Lloyd called the rumors "disrespectful" and "meritless," and emphasized that there is no truth to them. She went on to explain that she and Machine Gun Kelly have a professional relationship and that any claims of infidelity are baseless.

The rumors have sparked controversy among fans and followers of both Machine Gun Kelly and his girlfriend, Megan Fox, who recently deleted her Instagram account. The rumors began after photos surfaced of MGK and Lloyd spending time together on a rooftop, leading some fans to speculate that the two were romantically involved. However, Lloyd was quick to set the record straight, stating that their relationship is purely professional and that the photos were taken while they were working on new music together.

Despite Lloyd's denial, the rumors continued to spread on social media, prompting her to address them more directly. In an official statement to Page Six, her management team said on her behalf, "Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media. Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship is untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else."

While the rumors may have been hurtful and frustrating for Lloyd to deal with, she ultimately saw them as an opportunity to speak out against the toxic culture of gossip and speculation that is so prevalent in the music industry.

This statement comes after Megan Fox deleted her Instagram account, which had amassed over 13 million followers. The Jennifer's Body star had unfollowed her boyfriend and posted a selfie of with the caption, "You can taste the dishonesty/ it's all over your breath," inspired by Beyoncé's 2016 album "Lemonade," before deleting her page, reported Insider. The reason for her sudden departure from the platform is not entirely clear, but some speculate that it may have to do with the intense scrutiny and criticism she received from the media and public.

Given the recent rumors and speculation surrounding her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, Megan may have chosen to step away from social media to take a break from the constant scrutiny and negativity. It's worth noting that this is not the first time she has taken a break from Instagram, having previously deleted her account in 2013 before rejoining in 2017.
