Solange Knowles is reportedly pregnant, expecting her first child with fiance Alan Ferguson.
News that Solange is pregnant came from Media Take Out , which cited a source close to the singer. The report noted rumors about her sister Beyoncé as well.
“Beyonce ain’t the only KNOWLES to be carrying a BUN IN THE OVEN. MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a person CLOSE TO SOLANGE – who tells us that Solange and her fiance Alan Ferguson are expecting their FIRST CHILD TOGETHER. Congrats to them both… we can’t WAIT to see the little munchkin.”
While there is not yet confirmation that Solange Knowles is pregnant, her sister Beyoncé appears to be working hard to dispel her own pregnancy rumors . After reports emerged during Beyoncé’s trip to Italy with husband Jay Z, the singer decided to set the record straight by posting pictures of herself in a white bikini, showing off her toned midsection.
It would seem unlikely if Solange Knowles was pregnant. Earlier this summer, Solange and her boyfriend, 51-year-old video producer Alan Ferguson, got engaged .
“Today couldn’t have been more perfect,” Solange posted online while on vacation with Fergusion. “I couldn’t have smiled harder. Thank you for all of your lovely and wonderful wishes. They warmed my heart and I simply feel grateful for all of the love.”
Solange has been dating Ferguson for five years. Before that, she was married to high school sweetheart Daniel Smith, the father of her son Daniel Julez. The pair married in 2004, when Solange was still 17, but split up in 2007.
Solange has said she doesn’t care at all about the 23-year age difference with her now fiance.
“Everyone talks about how, in your 30s, all of these growing pains transition into wisdom and you feel more self-assured and confident, but I think I had a bit of a jump-start on that at 27,” she said in an interview earlier this year. “For the first time in my life, I’m basing every decision around the idea of whether I want to do it or if I think it will be inspiring. And that’s paid off for me.”
Solange Knowles has not responded to the report that she is pregnant.
