Rap icon Snoop Dogg has announced that he would like to be the next CEO for social media giant Twitter, and he has even created several hashtags to help his campaign. Snoop Dogg has also laid out the first thing he wants to do if he gets the position.

Taking to his personal Twitter page, which is an appropriate place to make the announcement, Snoop Dogg told his more than 12 million followers that he wants to take over the position.

Im ready to lead @twitter !! #SnoopforCEO

Along with the #SnoopforCEO hashtag, the rapper also created the #IfSnoopWasTwitterCEO hashtag to spread awareness of his interest in taking over the position. Many have responded to those with some great tweets.

@SnoopDogg #IfSnoopWasTwitterCEO We’d get retwizzles instead of retweets.

@SnoopDogg #ifSnoopWasTwitterCEO it’d be called Barker. — Deviant Mugen (@Mugen_Metroid) June 12, 2015

It even got the attention of actor Orlando Jones.

Recognizing the cultural import of #BlackTwitter @SnoopDogg to replace @dickc as new CEO of @twitter . The company will be renamed Twizzle.

Snoop Dogg has also explained the first thing he wants to do if he is hired for the position.

First order of Business! Get that Moolah! #SnoopforCEO @twitter

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Dick Costlo stepped down after serving as Twitter’s CEO since 2010. Costlo had faced criticism for the social media company’s slow growth in recent years, but there hadn’t been any discussion about him stepping away from the position until the announcement was made earlier this week. Costlo will still work for Twitter, and co-founder Jack Dorsey has stepped in as interim CEO.

This is not the first time Snoop Dogg has expressed interest in becoming the CEO of an internet-based company. Back in 2011, Search Engine Watch reported that the rap artist told his followers that he was going to take over as Yahoo’s CEO. He even got a response from an account claiming to be the interim CEO at the time, Tim Morse, saying the position was “already filled.” However, that account wasn’t actually Morse, and it no longer exists.

Im takn over as tha CEO of Yahoo. Need sum of tha Snoop Dogg content ya digg. Nuff Said.
